A few years ago, we met a new client in a hotel lobby. She was waiting for her Hotel Sales Manager and we were waiting for our car back to the airport after a successful site inspection. Hearing them talking about your event, we walked over and introduced ourselves. The client had inherited a contract with the hotel and was unhappy with many of the terms of the contract among other things. We offered to stick around and walk the property with the client. After hearing about their program and reading their contract over lunch, we offer to talk to the hotel to see what we could for them – at no cost. After a few hours with the hotel, it was agreed by all parties that the current contract was not in anyone’s best interests. We worked with the hotel and client to void the existing contract and to a new contract in place. That was in 2007 and we have been working with that client since!
